Halfway Through the Year : A Moment to Check In

How your practice has supported you and where it may be inviting you next...

There is something sacred about reaching the middle of anything.

A quiet pause.
A moment to look back… and gently forward.

Halfway through the year, we may feel the weight of what has happened, what we’ve carried, what we’ve lost, what we’ve learned. And maybe, like so much of life, it didn’t unfold the way we thought it would.

But your practice has been there.

Not perfectly.
Not every day.
But in the moments you chose to come back.

Because that’s what this is about, coming back.

Coming back to your breath.
Coming back to your body.
Coming back to yourself.

It’s not always about how you showed up in the hard moments. Sometimes the real work is the awareness you built before them…and the reflection you allowed yourself after.

The prayers you whispered.
The boundaries you practiced.
The strength you didn’t know you were building.

Nothing has been wasted.

Even the breakdowns.
Even the pauses.
Even the days you thought you were moving backward.

This halfway point isn’t asking you to measure your progress, it’s inviting you to notice it.

To soften into gratitude.
To acknowledge how far you’ve come.

To start Loving the Person on and off the Mat.
To ask, gently: where am I being led next?

Not forced.
Not rushed.

Led.

Because growth doesn’t always look like pushing forward. Sometimes it looks like staying open…even when life has changed everything.

And if you’ve slipped, if you’ve wandered, if you’ve felt lost, come back.

That’s always the invitation.
